Biography

Born in Tehran in 1975, Dr. Shahidi attended primary and secondary schools in Sari, capital of Mazandaran province, on the Caspian sea coast. He obtained the degree of Doctor in Dental Surgery in 2001. He then practiced dentistry in public and private dental clinics in Tehran.

Dr. Shahidi soon after specializes in Preventive, Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry from the University of Geneva which is renowned in these fields worldwide. He received the Doctorate degree from this University in Dental Medicine as well as his Swiss Federal Diploma in Dentistry. During this period, Dr Shahidi was also involved in carrying out research (Master of Advanced Studies in Oral Biology, Doctoral program in Dental Medicine), as well as in training undergraduate students in Dentistry and students at the Geneva Dental Assistant’s School (FORAD).

After several years of practice in a private dental clinic, Dr. Shahidi opened his dental clinic in 2015 in Lausanne. He has a special interest in esthetic rehabilitation and smile design, TMJ disorder and also root canal treatment.

Married and father of two children, Dr. Shahidi lives in Lausanne. He speaks French, English and Persian fluently.
